Description
Neo Thread Series – PDO Eye Mono threads on the cannula
are threads for the eye area. Neo Mono thread consists of PDO, which induces the self-healing process by inserting the thread into the skin. Neo Mono Thread is used to accelerate the synthesis of collagen and elastin.
How do PDO threads work
Polydioxanone (PDO) is a synthetic fiber that completely dissolves in the tissue after some time. It is used in the production of skin and subcutaneous sutures, which is why it has been used in medicine for many years. The idea of using PDO threads in aesthetic treatments was born in Korea and has gained popularity all over the world. The treatment involves inserting PDO threads under the skin (in selected areas) using a very thin needle. After insertion, the needle is removed and a dressing is applied to the skin. The treatment used creates a specific scaffold around which the body starts the process of neocollagenesis (production of new collagen fibers), stimulating fibroblasts to increase the synthesis of elastin and the synthesis of endogenous hyaluronic acid.
