Description
APHRODITE – PLLA Screw threads
are professional threads designed to revitalize the skin and reduce wrinkles and skin folds. Screw thread is a single thread wrapped around a needle. The fiber allows you to achieve a volumetric effect – reducing wrinkles. The effects last up to 1.5 years.
How do PLLA threads work
Polylactic acid (PLLA) is a substance naturally occurring in the body, which completely dissolves in the tissue after a certain period of time. The idea of using PLLA threads in aesthetic treatments was born in Korea and quickly gained popularity around the world. The treatment involves inserting PLLA threads under the skin (in selected areas) using a very thin needle. After insertion, the needle is removed and a dressing is applied to the skin. The treatment used creates a specific scaffold around which the body starts the process of neocollagenesis (production of new collagen fibers), stimulating fibroblasts to increase the synthesis of elastin and the synthesis of endogenous hyaluronic acid. After the treatment, the skin becomes more elastic, taut and elastic.
