Mesopeel Modified Jessner

is a chemical peel that improves the condition of the skin – smoothes, evens out the tone, brightens, has a bactericidal effect and eliminates blackheads.

Active ingredients:
Salicylic acid 14% – it is a beta hydroxy acid with strongly lipophilic properties, thanks to which it regulates the functioning of the sebaceous glands (reduces seborrhea), has a comedolytic effect – supports the removal of blackheads, cleanses the skin and prevents the formation of pimples. It is used in anti-acne therapies due to its strong bactericidal, fungicidal and anti-inflammatory effects. In addition, salicylic acid stimulates skin cell renewal and has an exfoliating effect. Reduces imperfections (enlarged pores, fine wrinkles) and discolorations, increases skin tension and brightens its color.

Lactic acid 14% – is an alpha hydroxy acid, it naturally improves skin hydration, induces the synthesis of ceramides in the epidermis and stimulates the production of collagen fibers in the dermis, thanks to which the skin becomes thicker, firmer and more elastic. Lactic acid also has keratolytic, anti-inflammatory and whitening properties (it inhibits the melanogenesis process by inhibiting the activity of tyrosinase).

Citric acid 8% – belongs to the group of alphahydroacids. It has a keratolytic effect, which removes discolorations and brightens the skin.

Indications:
Skin aging stage I and II:

• eliminating fine wrinkles
• restoring firmness
• narrowing of pores
• color unification

Pigment changes:

• depigmentation effect on discolorations, e.g. surface and epidermal pigment changes, pigment changes induced by harmful UV radiation
• color equalization
• skin prone to acne as a result of hormonal changes, including menopause

General treatment regimen:

Phase I: preparation and protection of the skin:

1. Remove make-up
2. Divide the patient’s skin area into zones (forehead, temples, nose, cheeks, chin, mouth area).
3. Assess the skin condition – confirm the absence of epidermis damage, irritation or inflammation
4. Protect the patient’s eyes with cotton swabs soaked in water. People who wear contact lenses should remove them before the procedure
5. Use mesoestetic? degreasing fluid to thoroughly cleanse and degrease the skin
6. Protect particularly sensitive areas (corners of the eyes, wings of the nose, nasolabial folds, lip contour) with an intensively regenerating cream
